I met Kurt at Echo Valley. He was kind and helpful and always smiling. I am very grateful for the time I knew him.

I never knew Kurt well, but to be around him was like putting on that old, comfy shirt you just can't part with. It was the humility that always held the kindness he offered. It was the smile that made you exhale and feel accepted. He was a true ambassador of peace.
